Approved by the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Education Bureau and the National Commission for UNESCO of China, the UNESCO Entrepreneurship Education Network (EE-Net) National Chapter in China (hereinafter referred to as National Chapter in China) was formally established in November 2014. With the tenet of “Serving the Society and Promoting Entrepreneurship” and the philosophy of “Entrepreneurship for all, Global Entrepreneurship, Social Entrepreneurship, Lifelong Entrepreneurship, and Knowledge Entrepreneurship”, the National Chapter in China is committed to creating a world-class and high-end composite platform that leading the construction of entrepreneurial society and the cultivation of entrepreneurial talents. The National Chapter in China devotes itself to promote the ability of entrepreneurs, and promote the sustainable development of entrepreneurial economy and entrepreneurship education by integrating resources, co-constructing and sharing, and promoting interaction and cooperation of international organizations, governments, enterprises, schools, associations, media and other institutions.
Since the establishment, the National Chapter in China held many large international academic conferences with the theme of “Challenges and Way Out for China's Entrepreneurship Education”, “Entrepreneurship Education System for Economic Transformation and Upgrading”, “Entrepreneurship Education Curriculum System Construction” and “Entrepreneurship Education Ecosystem Construction”. The National Chapter in China also has compiled entrepreneurial education series materials and constructed general course “Introduction to the Entrepreneurship Education” by MOOC.
