The Center for Basic Education Curriculum Studies was established in 2001. It is one of the 16 basic education curriculum research centers established by Ministry of Education all over the country. Most members of the Center have international experiences in USA, UK, Canada, Japan and other countries, as well as rooted deeply in the local education practice, with excellent expertise in research on curriculum and teaching.
The Center is now committed to research and application development of projects related to basic education curriculum reform, providing consultancy service for curriculum reform and innovation both nationwide and provincially. It also actively helps the local educational authorities to improve the schools and curriculum in the whole area, and involved deeply in many schools’ curriculum innovation and school improvement, so that the center play important roles in leading basic education development in various levels and provide professional service to schools.
