The Institute of Kenisiology and Sports Enginerring is one of research institutes of Zhejiang University which undertakes the basic and applied research in the field of sports science theory and engineering technology. There are 9 professors and 10 associate professors in the Institute. Sports Science and Engineering, Humane Sociology of Sport, Athletic Training, National Sports of Tradition and Sport Human Science are the four research directions. In recent years, the Institute has undertaken a number of research projects in national-, provincial- and international level. In addition, more than 100 papers and 20 monographs have been published. Research in sports economics, sports management, school physical education, exercise physiology, sports and exercise psychology, and competitive sports training theory has formed distinctive features.
