A delegation including 5 undergraduate students and 1 teacher from the Department of Physical Education, Zhejiang University visited the School of Health, Physical Education, & Leisure Services, at the University of Northern Iowa (HPELS,UNI) in the U.S. from November 11 to 14, 2014. This visit was supported by the program of Dr. Zhou Lijun, the vice director of the Department of Physical Education.
During the stay in UNI, HPELS arranged for the delegates to attend classes in UNI, visit UNI campuses and local high schools, and attend academic lectures. Dr. Watson, Dean of HPELS, and Dr. Corbett, director of HPELS warmly welcomed the delegates and introduced the status of HPELS to the delegates. Additionally, HPELS arranged home stays for the delegates, which provided a valuable opportunity to know and understand U.S. culture. The delegation gained valuable experiences through this visit.
