On June 19th and 20th, 2014, President Go Jo-oek of the Association of China and Korean Education Communication (ACKE) visited our college. Dean Xu, of the College of Education introduced the current situation of Korean education communication and cooperation. Dean Xu expressed his hope that cooperation and chances to participate in various cooperative research projects, education internships, and observational learning and service learning with ACKE could provide opportunities for our college faculty members and students to act as a long-term stable bridge between well-known Korean universities and organizations.
On the morning of June 20th, both sides held the signing ceremony at our college. Party Leaders of the College of Education attended the ceremony. Under the agreement, both sides will carry out six core cooperation activities such as faculty exploratory visitations, exchange of students, internships, building specialized practice bases, and a Korean education research center.
During President Go’s visit, Deputy Vice President Song Yonghua represented our university and expressed a warm welcome and wishes for creating a bridge between Chinese and Korean education. Deputy Vice President Song, also wished to promote deeper cooperation, mutual benefits and common development between Zhejiang University and Korean education fields.
In addition, president Ju visited the School of International Education, the School of Continuing Education, and the College of Education’s Experimental Schools such as Jingdu Primary school and Changshouqiao Primary School and communicated on relative cooperative projects
